Welcome to TEC Maastricht - Together Strong with Our House Rules

At TEC Maastricht, we have established some house rules to optimize our cooperation as a healthcare provider and you as a valued patient. We assume that you have read these house rules and will respectfully observe them during your treatment.

Appointments

For patients with a referral:

You need a referral from your dentist or an independent dental hygienist (with your dentist's permission) to make an appointment. If you do not need specific treatment but rather want a second opinion, you are also welcome without a referral.

Once your treatment at TEC Maastricht is complete, we will send a comprehensive report of the treatment performed and any follow-up appointments to your dentist or practitioner.

This process ensures structured and informed collaboration between TEC Maastricht and your referring dentist or dental hygienist, with the goal of ensuring the best care for your oral health.

For General Dentistry:

If you wish to register, please bring proof of identity and a recent medication history. Making an appointment is easy.

You can call us during our business hours or fill out the contact form on our website www.TECMaastricht.nl

We will then contact you as soon as possible. On our website you will also find detailed information about our treatments.

Flexible working hours

We understand that flexibility is important. That's why we work with extended opening hours. We are open until 2 p.m. on Saturdays and until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During these evening openings, we are unfortunately not available by phone.

Customized appointment reminder

At TEC Maastricht, we offer you a personalized service that starts with an appointment reminder. Shortly before your scheduled appointment, you will receive a friendly text message from us. This service is completely free of charge and designed to help you remember your appointment.

Remember, however, that failure to receive a reminder does not mean that your appointment will not take place. Keeping your appointment always remains your own responsibility.

On Time Appearance

We appreciate your punctuality and ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Arriving late may result in cancellation if not enough time remains to perform your appointment and treatment as scheduled.

Cancel Appointments

At TEC Maastricht, we understand that plans can change. Therefore, you can cancel scheduled appointments free of charge up to 2 days before treatment. If you do not cancel an appointment or do not cancel in time, we will charge you for the reserved time. Repeated failure to keep appointments without notice may result in deregistration as a patient.

Your Data

Your personal information is carefully kept in our patient file. We ask that you notify us of any changes to your personal information as soon as possible so that we can update your record. This includes changes in your phone number, email address, home address, health insurance provider, and health status.

Health Questionnaire

At your first visit, we ask that you complete a health questionnaire, including information about your health and medication use. It is in your and our best interest that you complete this questionnaire completely and honestly.

Protection of Property

TEC Maastricht accepts no liability for any damage, theft, or loss of your property. We recommend that you bring all of your personal belongings with you to the treatment room.

Respect for Silence

To ensure the peace and privacy of our patients, we kindly ask you to put your cell phone on silent during treatments and in the waiting room.

Smoke-free Environment

Smoking is strictly prohibited within our practice, including the outdoor area surrounding the TEC Maastricht building.

Payment options

At TEC Maastricht, we offer several payment options:

Payment by pin immediately after treatment at the counter. Invoice by e-mail via Infomedics, to be paid within the specified period.

Possibility of payment arrangements for amounts above €750.00, to be discussed with Infomedics. You can send the invoice to your health insurance company yourself.

Unpaid bills are turned over to a collection agency, which incurs additional costs that are borne by the patient.

Emergency

For serious emergencies outside business hours, contact 0900-42 43 434.

Complaint Procedure

At TEC Maastricht we strive to provide the best service. If you do have any complaints, we would like to hear from you. Please contact our practice so we can work with you to find an appropriate solution. You can also submit your complaint via our complaint form. If no satisfactory solution is found, you can seek advice and information by telephone from the Dental Information Point (TIP).

Customer Satisfaction

To improve our services, we regularly measure customer satisfaction. We appreciate your feedback and suggestions, which you can also share with one of our staff members.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Your patient information will be treated with the utmost care and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except in cases where medical referral is necessary. If your records are requested by other health care providers or family members, we will always ask for your written consent.

Secure Communication

For secure e-mail communication, we use Zorgmail. With this, personal data is always sent encrypted, unlike regular e-mail, which can be insecure.
